A better way to keep your Yaesu FTM-400 Remote head secure is to mount it to the body. This 3D printed bracket system attaches to the body over the existing mobile bracket and allows full travel of the mobile metal bracket. The head attaches with 1 screw (supplied) to a mount that is attached to the main body of the 3D printed bracket which allows 90 degrees of tilt up and down to get the perfect viewing angle. Longer screws to allow the attaching of the plastic bracket over the metal mobile bracket are included. Longer remote head cable is custom made by me and is also included so you can mount the radio body with either the speaker up or down and keep the face right side up. I use lock nuts on the tilt head piece so the screws can be snugged up and the face will stay where you put it. Available in the black color you see in the pictures.
